Map cases unlock progressively as players reach new level milestones. New map tiers become available at specific level thresholds, and at Level 10 players also unlock the possibility of encountering a Hardcore map.
Custom cases unlock by finding a blueprint in the map you want to unlock. Play on those maps and hope to find the blueprint.
